Every Friday afternoon, local farmers sell their farm products at a fair price at the farmers’ market in Landegem. The principle of the short chain is put into practice here. Preference is given to farmers and horticulturists from Deinze who offer locally grown agricultural and horticultural products, more than half of which are a fixed value and the other half occupy a location more seasonally. All possible agricultural and horticultural products, ranging from eggs, dairy, vegetables, fruit, herbs and meat to flowers, plants and trees are discussed.
The market takes place every Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm around the church in the district of Landegem.
